Celebrating a year of awards & recognition

2024 has been another winning year for Liberty IT! From Great Place to Work (GPTW) recognition to awards successes, we’re looking back over a year of celebrations!

Liberty IT: a Great Place to Work

We've been recognised again by GPTW UK and GPTW Ireland across a range of Best Workplace listings - and we're especially proud to be newly listed as a Best Workplace for Development by GPTW UK. This new accolade highlights our unwavering commitment to learning and developing for all our employees, from our apprentices, interns and graduates right through to our more experienced employees and leaders.

Technology Ireland recognition

In a similar vein, in November we were thrilled to pick up the Talent Development award at the Technology Ireland awards. This award in particular recognised our Tech Start programme - a bespoke graduate development programme which helps prepare our early career joiners to move into their teams, with an exciting mix of technical and professional topics.

Diversity Mark

We're delighted to have retained the Silver Diversity Mark again this year, highlighting our continued commitment to being a best place to work for each and every employee. This award also recognises the hard work of our employee groups who help educated and inform us all about ability, gender and sexual orientation.

Individual success for employees

We're not just celebrating awards for Liberty IT as a company - our employees were also recognised at the individual level, with success in the Diversity Advocate award at the She Rocks! Awards, with an additional nominee in the Outstanding Leadership category, and another team member was shortlisted as an Advancing Diversity and Inclusion Advocate at the Minorities Recognition Awards.

Celebrating awards shortlists

It truly is the taking part that counts! With shortlisting for the Belfast Telegraph IT awards and Irish News workplace awards, we were also delighted to be nominated for two GNI Mag awards, recognising our commitment to our LGBTQ+ employees and allies. The year also saw shortlist appearances at the Galway Chamber Business Awards, Invest in Ireland Awards and Business Eye Awards.
